How It Works
Procedure
A nutrition counseling session is a two-way interaction during which we build a meaningful connection and support you on your journey to optimal health. We collect health information, nutrition-related history, and individual and family medical history to assess your individual needs and goals — then set therapeutic goals and a realistic timeline to meet them.
Cancellation
Life happens, and we understand that. We encourage at best 48 hours, and at least 24 hours, notice for appointment changes or cancellations. Otherwise, the full session fee may be charged.
Insurance Coverage
We are not affiliated with any health insurance provider. We encourage you to contact your insurance provider to find out if you are eligible for reimbursement, and to consult the conditions of your medical plan regarding nutrition counseling coverage.
Confidentiality & Privacy
Privacy and confidentiality are extremely important to us. Your health information and session notes will never be used or disclosed. Information is only shared with third parties with your explicit written consent.
